On
Tuesday 14th, Friday 17Th and Tuesday 21St our group took part
in the transmission "Fuori giri", which was on air at about 3.00
p.m. and was announced by Mr. Enzo Gentile on the station "Radio
Rai Due". In the first episode a track from "Folk & Noble Jig"
was broadcast and our group was introduced; in the second episode
2 live tracks with Jacqui Mc. Shee and Jerry Conway and interviews
to Jacqui and to us were on air. In the third one a live recording
of the song "It is only a love song" and one interview to Paolo
were broadcast.
San
Patrizio tour, which our group made together with Jacqui Mc Shee
and Jerry Conway, is over now. Except in the first date, which
was really organized at last minute like a sort of preview in
Bergamo, in the other dates there was a great crowd of spectators.
A Puianello, for instance, our tickets were sold-out, in Vicenza
there was a big crowd and in the two dates of "Irlanda in festa",
at the "Palatenda" in Firenze and at the "Palazzetto dello Sport"
in Bolzano, the flow of almost 2000 spectators totally satisfied
the promoters' expectations. It is important to stress that in
Firenze we were the chief attraction and we were preceded by a
local group, while in Bolzano we were the only group that played.
news The "Folk Studio.
A
fans club" is born in Valdagno (VI). It has already organized
the presence of some dozens of fans at our concerts and even the
shipment of a representative body to Bolzano on the occasione
of the last date (18Th March) of our tour with Jacqui Mc Shee
and Jerry Conway. The cards and some gadgets for the members are
ready. We are going to prepare also a "fanzine" open to the interventions
of those who are members or not.
